Bead Extensions: Also known as Micro-Bead Extensions.
Why bead extensions?
Micro bead extensions are one of the most common types of extensions that are used to add instant volume and length to your hair. Clients prefer this type because you can move the bonds up closer to their roots as their natural hair grows, and the extension hair pieces are reusable.
Can I wash my hair and blow dry it?
Yes, you can wash, brush and style your bead extensions much like you would your natural hair. Talking to your specialist will help you determine the best maintenance ritual and recommended hair care products will not only make sure your extensions look their best, but will also help you to grow and strengthen your natural hair.
Can I color my hair?
The extensions we use at our salon are made of 100 % human hair so, they can be colored and toned with semi and demi permanent hair dyes.
How is it applied?
In small sections the natural hair is looped through a micro bead along with the extension piece. The micro bead is then clamped down until the bead lays flat and securely holding both the natural and extension hair. At our salon we use specifically flat bonded extensions for added comfort.
How long will it last?
Each application can last up to 12 weeks and the hair can be used up to 3 times with proper care.
Can you match my hair color and texture?
At our salon we have about 130 different color options including natural color, ombre and fashion colors. Our extension specialists can create any look with different placement of colors including, and not limited to; ombre, sombre, shadow roots, gray hair, and fashion colors. We also offer straight, wave and curly hair to guarantee a 100% match to your natural texture.
Does it hurt or is it uncomfortable?
Properly applied extension will not hurt. For extra comfort we use flat bonded pieces, instead of rounded ones, so that the bonds will lie flat to the scalp. However clients that are looking for the highest level of comfort and the most natural feel should look at keratin fusion extensions.
How are they removed?
A professional clamping tool is used to bring the bead to its natural form, then releasing the hold on the hair extension and natural hair. This allows for the bead and extension hair to slide off easily and without worry.
What is the maintenance?
A salon visit about every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended so that the hair extension can be moved closer to the scalp to prevent tangles at the root, keep your look fresh and well blended.
Will bead extensions damage my own hair?
Just like any other type of extensions; if properly installed and maintained, beaded extensions will not damage your own hair. All our stylists are extension certified and trained by Ergun who has 20 years of experience with hair extensions.
What is the cost for bead extensions?
Our extension prices are based off of the amount of hair applied to each guest. We have a few ball park figures to estimate around bellow, but the best means to get a true and accurate price quote is to come in for a complimentary consultation and let one of our specialists assess your hair needs.
